Aim:
The aim of this research project is to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of various fruit extracts—specifically strawberry, citrus lemon, and green apple—against microbial growth by measuring the zones of inhibition in a controlled environment. This study will also assess the effectiveness of chloramphenicol as a positive control and the lack of antimicrobial activity in distilled water as a negative control. Through this experimentation, we seek to understand the potential of natural fruit extracts as alternatives to conventional antibiotics in inhibiting microbial proliferation.
