If you had an IR source in an otherwise dark room, would you be able to influence the nightlight to turn off? What about if you had a UV source?

The question give advance notice of the sensitivity of the receptor that determines when to turn the night light on and off; therefore, we must guess. My best guess is that the IR source probably would not influence the light but the UV source definitely would.
