now use that to get
3/2 (3y+6) - 2y = 4
solve for y, and then you can get x.
Multiply Eq1 by 2 and Eq2 by 3. Subtract Eq2 from Eq1:
6x-4y = 8.
6x-9y = 18.
Diff.:5y = -10
Y = -2.

3x-2y = 4.
3x-2*(-2) = 4.
