This should be simple ( and it probably is).
[5-27].-5 divided by -5
-22.-5= 110 divided by -5 = -22
They said this was wrong! -5.-22=+110? Right?

Please help my scattered brain!

are the terms in the numerator multiplied or subtracted. If multiplied, you are right. If subtracted,

-110-5=-115
divided by-5 is 23
