you can also do cross multiplication to check if two fractions are equal,, in this case,
2*45 = 90 (numerator of first fraction * denominator of the second)
18*5 = 90 (denominator of first fraction * numerator of the second)
therefore, they are equal, and they make a proportion,,
so there,, =)
