If the measure of angle Z is five times the measure of angle W, we wanna find the measure of angle W. We know that the measure of angle W plus the measure of angle Z has to equal 90 degrees because the two angles are complementary. 02:56: How do we find the measure of angle W? We're gonna let the measure of angle W equal X. Now what do we know? We know the measure of angle Z is five times the measure of angle W. If this is X, then the measure of angle Z has to be 5X because it's five times that measure. So X plus 5X has to equal 90 degrees, which means 6X has to equal 90 degrees and when we solve, we're gonna get that X equals 15 degrees. That means the measure of angle W because we let the measure of angle W equal X so the measure of angle W equals 15 degrees.
