In a small town called Silver Creek lived a 10-year-old boy named Aaron. Silver Creek was a pleasant, cozy town that was known mostly for its mystical yet mysterious silver creek. Although the creek looked so fresh and beautiful the people of the town were only allowed to look at the silver creek. It was forbidden to drink, touch, or swim because everyone who tried to do any of the following automatically disappeared. The legend says that when one looks into the creek, they may see a flash into their future but only a few people have claimed to see so.
Aaron lives on a cul-de-sac where one of his best friends since birth lives, too. They have both lived on the cul-de-sac for as long as they have been alive, which naturally made them progressively become friends, especially as they grew older. In the quaint town of Silver Creek, with its enchanting charm and close-knit community, lived a curious 10-year-old boy named Aaron. Known for its mystical yet elusive allure, the town was named after the shimmering creek that flowed through it, sparkling like liquid silver under the sun. While the creek enchanted with its beauty, its waters held a powerful secret: anyone who dared to touch, drink, or swim in them mysteriously vanished without a trace. Legends whispered of those who peered into the depths of the creek, claiming to catch glimpses of their future—a rare and tantalizing vision that only a select few could claim to have seen.

Aaron resided on a friendly cul-de-sac, where his lifelong companion, Flynn, lived just a stone's throw away. Their bond, forged in the innocence of early childhood, had naturally deepened as they grew older, creating a friendship that felt as enduring as the towering trees around them. Both boys, equally adventurous and dream-filled, would often gather in Flynn’s treehouse after school, a secret haven filled with whispers of adventure and plans for the future. There, they would draw their own versions of the creek and dreamily predict what lay ahead. Later, the thrill of possibility would lead them to the Silver Creek itself, where they sought the whispered promises of their futures, peering into its shimmering surface with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Little did they know, the answers they sought might come with more than just a glimpse into tomorrow.
