Cleaning up around the kennel you picked up a total of 52 coins. Unfortunately, they were only pennies and nickels. The value of the coins was $1.20. How many pennies and how many nickels did you pick up?

Let the number of pennies be P and the number of mickels be N.

P + N = 52
P + 5N = 120

4N = 120 - 52 = 68
