cos^2 x = 3/4
cos x = ± √3/2
If by primary solutions you mean 0≤ x ≤ 360
then x = 30°, 150°, 210°, 330°
in radians: π/6, 5π/6, 7π/6,11π/6
the second one:
tanx(1-tanx) = 0
tanx = 0, or tanx = 1
