Am I childish for wanting a teddy bear for Christmas? I’m 15.

But it’s the same as the one I had as a baby. It’s a pink teddy bear with a light pink ribbon tied around its neck. My dad threw it away because we were moving to a different state, and we couldn’t bring a bunch of things coming here. So that’s why. I want it for Christmas.

Yeah I miss it. It even had a stain on it. Prob because of me lol. But yeah. That’s one of the things I want for Christmas. :)

Yeah my dad “joked” and said: “you want a teddy bear for Christmas?” Like as if I was too old to get a teddy for Christmas. :/ and it’s the one he threw away! made me feel bad somewhat. He’s a hypocrite for that too, he has bunch of comics from his childhood he’s been collecting. And my brother even asked for a toy for Christmas and he’s 16!! So yeah.

The time from germination to harvest for apple trees can vary based on several factors, including the apple variety, climate conditions, and care practices. Generally, apple trees typically take about **3 to 5 years** from planting to bear fruit. However, once the trees begin producing apples, the time from flowering to harvest usually takes about **100 to 200 days**, depending on the variety.
For example:
- Early varieties, like "Honeycrisp," may mature in about 100 to 130 days.
- Mid-season varieties might take around 130 to 150 days.
- Late-season varieties can sometimes take longer, around 150 to 200 days.
Keep in mind that the specific timing can vary based on local growing conditions and the specific cultivar of apple.

It's completely natural to miss something that has such a personal history and is tied to your childhood memories. That teddy bear probably holds a lot of special moments for you, even if it had a stain or two! Those little imperfections often make items like that even more meaningful. They represent your past and the experiences you've had.
When you share your wish for the teddy bear with your family, they may appreciate your heartfelt connection to it and understand why you want it. It’s wonderful that you have something so special in mind for Christmas! I hope you get it and that it brings you a lot of comfort and joy. 😊

It sounds frustrating to feel judged for wanting something that means a lot to you, especially when it seems like your dad has similar attachments to his own childhood items. It’s perfectly reasonable for you to want a teddy bear, regardless of your age, especially since it has such personal significance. Everyone has different things that bring them comfort or happiness, and it’s okay to embrace what you love.
It might help to express to your dad why that teddy bear is important to you. Sharing your feelings can help him understand your perspective better. It's also good to remember that everyone has their own way of holding onto memories, whether through toys, comics, or other items. Your feelings are valid, and you deserve to have things that make you happy!

It sounds like you have a good chance of getting both gifts, especially since your requests are thoughtful and budget-friendly! The teddy bear is a sweet, meaningful item, and the gift card for the Animal Crossing DLC and donation shows your generous spirit.
It's understandable that you might notice the differences in how gifts are distributed among siblings, but focusing on what you would love to receive can make the holidays more about your own joy, rather than comparing. Hopefully, your family recognizes how much these items mean to you. Wishing you all the best for Christmas—may you get everything you're hoping for! And enjoy the excitement of the season! 😊

The Bible has many verses that speak about generosity, giving, and the importance of a generous spirit. Here are a few key passages that highlight these themes:
1. **2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV)**: “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2. **Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)**: “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
3. **Luke 6:38 (NIV)**: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
4. **Acts 20:35 (NIV)**: “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
5. **Matthew 6:21 (NIV)**: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
These verses emphasize the importance of giving from the heart, the blessings that come from generosity, and the idea that a giving spirit reflects a caring and compassionate nature. Generosity is not only about the act of giving but also about the attitude behind it—giving cheerfully and selflessly. Your desire to support those creators with no expectation of return aligns well with these biblical principles of generosity!

In the Bible, the principles of generosity and giving encompass both giving to God and giving to others. Here are a few aspects to consider:
1. **Giving to Others**: Many Bible verses encourage believers to care for and support those in need. This includes acts of kindness, charity, and helping those who are less fortunate. For example:
- **Matthew 25:40 (NIV)**: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” This verse emphasizes that helping others is a way of serving God.
- **Galatians 6:2 (NIV)**: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” This highlights the community aspect of generosity and support.
2. **Giving to God**: Giving to God typically involves tithing (giving a portion of one's income to the church) and supporting the work of the ministry. For instance:
- **Malachi 3:10 (NIV)**: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
3. **The Attitude of Giving**: The Bible emphasizes the importance of the attitude behind giving, whether to God or to others. It's not just about the act itself but giving with a joyful and willing heart.
- **2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)**: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
4. **A Holistic View of Generosity**: Generosity encompasses giving of time, resources, and love to both God and others. Acts of kindness, sharing talents, and offering support are all ways to demonstrate a generous spirit.
In summary, the Bible encourages both giving to God (through tithes and support for ministry) and giving to others (through acts of service, kindness, and charity). Both aspects reflect a heart of love and compassion, highlighting the importance of generosity in all areas of life. Your desire to support the YouTubers you admire fits beautifully within this broader understanding of giving!
