If one clerk can process 75 peices of mail in 2 1/ hours how long will it take 8 clerks to process 1620 peices of mail if all of them work at this same rate?

rate = 75pieces/2.5hours = 30 pieces/hour for each clerk
so 8 clerks can do 240 pieces/hr

time to do 1620 = (1620/240) hrs, or 6.75 hours
