genetic altering can prevent disease, improve food, treat disease. Perhaps in the future, genetic defects in female cells can be changed, such as the reinsertion of correct genes. That is a long way off.

OK, because I am so kind and good. Pretend a woman carries the breast cancer gene. If she wants kids w/o that gene, it would have to be removed from her DNA in the ovum cell. It may be possible to do this in the future.
