Choosing the vice president as the person with the second highest number of votes is a bad idea because it could mean that the two leaders don't get along or have very different ideas. If they don't work well together, it could make it hard to help the country. Plus, the person coming in second might not be someone that most people really wanted for the job. It would be better to choose a vice president who everyone likes and supports!
