In 3-4 sentences, The vice president was initially chosen by selecting the candidate with the second highest number of votes.  Explain if you think that is a good or bad idea. (Bad idea, and make sure a 2nd grader can understand you)

I think choosing the vice president by picking the person with the second most votes is a bad idea. It might mean that the vice president isn’t someone a lot of people really like, or they might not agree with the president’s ideas. It’s like if you have a favorite snack but then also pick a snack you don’t really like just because it came in second. It’s better to have someone who everyone thinks of as a good team player!
