a) Water drops, sitting on your skin after a dip in a swimming pool, evaporate. Identify the system and its surroundings for the above process and state the direction of heat transfer. Is the process endothermic or exothermic.
Would the system be the skin?? whats what?? And im guessing its exothermic since it is releasing heat right??

Go to this site and scroll down to "Energy and Enthalpy" which is approximately half way down the page. The first sentence talks about the "system" and the "surroundings."

What are the reaction products and reactants? Is that liquid water and water vapor with a reaction something like this?
H2O(l) + heat ==> H2O(g)
So the skin and everything else would be the surroundings? Heat is flowing from the surroundings to the system? The reaction is endothermic?
