It sounds like a course that will teach you very little about science and technology, but instead fulfill the minimum distribution requirements towards your degree. I do not recommend it.
I would pick introductory biology, "physical science", astronomy or computer science instead. Give yourself a chance to develop a real understanding of the scientific method and "how things work". You might even like it.
I have to complete a course selection form for school but I'm having some trouble understanding some of the courses. Can someone please help me please?
Science and Technology:
This is a science course provided to meet the needs of students requiring a general science course rather than the more in-depth study of t he traditional sciences. The course will provide students with an appreciation of the interaction of science, technology and society. It will look at technology as an application of science and will help students develop the ability to respond critically to technological issues.
Can someone please clarify/explain what this course is about? What I'll be learning in this course? I don't quite understand the description.
Thanks for very much for help.

I agree with DrWLS. It sounds very much like dribble, full of words, but teaching you little substance. Why would anyone seek out easy teachers, or easy subjects?
Oh yeah I took it and it SUCKS. Dont do it!!!!
