Are both these false?
A unique format is one for which there is no similar competition in the market.

I also think this one is false but again not sure

A "head to head" format refers to a format that is trying to successfully program against a similar one.

i agree with the first one, but why would the second one be false? when somethings head to head wouldnt it be 2 programs battling and 1 trying to be successful?

The phrase "head to head" sounds as if there are two things (in this case format?) that are alike or very similar.
