I did ln4x = ln 120
divided both sides by ln 4 and got 3.4534. Is this correct?

I disagree
e^(4x) = 120
ln[e^(4x)] = ln120
4x( ln e) = ln 120 , since ln e = 1
4x = ln 120
x = ln 120/4 = 1.1969
e^(4x) = 120
ln[e^(4x)] = ln120
4x( ln e) = ln 120 , since ln e = 1
4x = ln 120
x = ln 120/4 = 1.1969
