A^2=4
take the square root of both sides
A = ± 2

so this answer is n/a??
Answered by Reiny
No
A = 2 OR A = -2

notice (2)^2 = 4
and (-2)^2 = 4, so they both work

SO do I take the square root of both a and 4?
If so square root of a is a and 4 is 2???
