suppose a pizza slice is a circle sector with a 24 angle and a radius of 15 inches. If a can of pizza sauce will cover 94 square inches of pizza, how many cans of sauce are needed to cover this slice?

24/360 = .06666666..... or 1/15
That is the fraction of the pizza in this slice.
Area of whole pizza = pi r^2 = 225 pi
So area of this slice = 225 pi/15 = 15 pi square inches. That is about 47.12 inches sq
so it will take
47.12/94 = about half a can
