Ammeter 1 reads 0.20 A. a. What should ammeter 3 indicate? b. What should ammeter 4 indicate? Given: RA = 22-OHM RB = 13-OHM A1...Asked by Priscilla
Ammeter 1 reads 0.20 A.
a. What should ammeter 3 indicate?
b. What should ammeter 4 indicate?
Given:
RA = 22-OHM
RB = 13-OHM
A1 = 0.20 A
Ammeter 2 reads 0.15A.
a. Find the voltage across the 22-ohm resistor?
b. Find the voltage across the 15-ohm resistor?
c. What is the battery voltage?
Given:
RA = 22-OHM
RB = 15-OHM
A1 = 0.20 A
A2 = 0.15 A
Soon, the diagram will be posted, thanks a lot.
ok by the time, i can try and solve this problem.
R = RA + RB
R = 22-ohm + 15-ohm
R = 37-ohm
I = V source / RA + RB
But the voltage is not given.
**The diagram is @photobucket, my username is musicgurl8975, maybe you can find me on there and only one picture is on the album which is the physics problem.
- Thanks a lot, i appreciate this, happy valetines day

Ok, if you can't find me @photobucket, i'll just explain the diagram. The voltometer is across the volts, therefore the voltometer = volts. The A1 is on top and then a resistor is on top with 22-ohm. Then, by the side, there's A2 along with a resistor of 15-ohm. And on the bottom is A3 only.
For the voltometer, i draw the picture a little, but I don't know if it will come out right.

A1, A2, and A3 are in series, so all of them are the same, and you are given that.
Total resistance is R1+R2, or 37 ohms.
V= current*resistance=.2*37=7.4 volts
