I have to find five errors in this paragraph and rewrite it correctly, please see my version after the original version below. Please let me know what you think, is it grammatically correct?

Original paragraph:
When your dictionary shows more than one spelling for a word, I bet you were taught to use the one listed first? So were most of us, I think. Yet according to the dictionaries themselves (generally in the tiny type up front) whenever it gives two spellings, it isn’t urging us to choose the first one; its telling us that either spelling is fine and that both occurs in our language with roughly equal frequency.

My corrected version:
When the dictionary shows more than one spelling for a word, I bet you were taught to use the one listed first? So were most of us, I think. Yet, according to the dictionary, in the tiny type up front, whenever it gives two spellings, it isn’t urging us to choose the first one; it’s telling us that either spelling is fine and that both occur in our language with roughly equal frequency.

Thank you

Do not use a question mark after "first". Other than that, I find no other errors.
