Imagine that I (Sheilla Mond) graduated at the University of Goroka obtaining Bachelors in Education to teach in secondary schools in 2023. From 2018-2019 was my upper secondary level and two years before that was my two years lower secondary stage which I obtained certificates respectively. In 2021 I was the leader to my regional group organized by BSP to clean up Goroka main market during environment day. During my holiday in 2022 I assisted my ward councilor to organize for new water system in my village. In 2020 I was one of the selected students to attend a short course on health and hygiene organized by the Department of Health, Goroka. In my final year 2022, I was chosen as the leader to three of my colleagues and was sent to Lae Secondary school on Teaching Practice (TP) for 6 weeks arranged between University of Goroka and Lae Secondary school.
After my teaching practice we were all awarded with certificate of practice teaching at Lae Secondary school then we all left back for University of Goroka. After graduation in 2023 I came across on the advertised position vacancy for a Chemistry teacher at Lae Secondary school in the local newspaper The National.
