How do I solve for m and b in the y = mx + b formula if the x-intercept is -16 and the y-axis intercept is 3? How would I go about putting these numbers into the equation?

b would be the y-int. Therefore b = 3 then sub the pt (-16,0) into the equation and solve for m.
