Kara has a thousand marbles. Kara's brother and his 9 friends steal 5 marbles each. Kara's brother gets caught and gives his marbles back. How many marbles does Kara have now?

No. Please try again. Remember the problem doesn't say that the brother's nine friends gave back the marbles they stole.

1000marbles = 10 people taking 5 each= 950 but since he gives back 5 the answer is 955
