Question

3x2+1=7/2
6x2+5=17/5

7/2x5/6x17/5 = 596/60 = 59 5/12

Is this right? I feel like I am doing something wrong..

I'm sorry but you're way off. To start, you're basically multiplying 3 times 3, so your answer should be around 9 or 10.

3 1/2 x 5/6 x 3 2/5

First we have to change these mixed numbers to improper fractions.

7/2 * 5/6 * 17/5

Next, multiply the numerators.

7 * 5 * 17 = 595

Then multiply the denominators
2 * 6 * 5 = 60

595/60 = ?

you mean to divide 595 by 60 if so that comes out to 9.91
9 91/60
then I would need to break that down.. I am so confused

595/60 can just be considered a fraction. So you have to simplify it by multiplying both the denominator and the numerator by 5/5. This gives you 119/12 which cannot be reduced anymore.

Also 9.91 is 9 91/100 not 91/60.
