Balance the equation by replacing the ? with a 2.
2Na + Cl2 → 2NaCl
The balanced equation allows you to use the coefficients to convert any amount of one ingredient to an equivalent amount of any other in the same equation. It's done like this.
8 NaCl molecules x (1 mol Cl2/2 moles NaCl) = 8*1/2 = ?
Looks like 4 to me.
