If sinu = -5/7 and pie<u<3pie/2 find 2u

Does anyone know the answer to this (not the steps for solving I know that my answer just keeps coming out funny)

1 answer

The angle with a sin of 5/7 is 45.585 degrees. Since u is in the third quadrant , u makes that angle with the -x axis. Your angle is 180 + 45.585, or 225.585 degrees. Twice that is 451.17 degrees.
