Assuming you are trying to find x,
(x+4)^2=7
take square roots on both sides
(x+4) = ±√7
So
x+4=+√7 or x+4=-√7
Solve for x.
(x+4)^2=7
take square roots on both sides
(x+4) = ±√7
So
x+4=+√7 or x+4=-√7
Solve for x.
