Kurt has a number of turkeys to give out to needy people and is going to have two friends help him. Alex received half of the turkeys, plus 5. David received half of what was left, plus 10. Kurt decided to keep 10 turkeys to give away to others. How many turkeys did Kurt start with?

Alex got .5n + 5, which leaves .5n - 5

David got .5(.5n - 5) + 10
