Can you please tell me what is wrong with this sentence. My teacher underlined it and I can't figure out what is wrong with it. Thank you.

With the results of the election in, Andrew Jackson led in the popular and electoral votes, yet did have the majority of the electoral votes. Thank You.

You are saying that 1) he led in the popular and electoral votes and 2) he had the majority of electoral votes. It doesn't make sense.

Are you trying to say that although he led in popular vote, he did not have the majority of electoral votes?
