Find the center and ardius of the circle

(x-1)2nd power+y2nd power=36

2 answers

Square root it to make it a little easier to see first. x-1+y=6 or x+y=7. The center has to be some point with coordinates (x,y). A radius is half of the diameter across that runs through the center. Drawing a labled circle would be a good idea.
Your center is (1 or -1,0). Y^2-0 is still y^2.
