I am writing a term paper and I have to use an example of a public policy designed to protect freedom of expression. I was wondering if someone had a good example of one. Specifically one that defined the importance of our first amendment, but not too far back in history?

Thanks for any suggestions!

What about the public rallies now on both sides of the Health bill policy debate. That is definitely freedom of speech.

Yes, that is a great idea....I think it would be important to discuss. Thank you very much!
