I have a quiz tomorow, and i need to make sure im doing the steps right, so then do you do..: ?

2=15+b
-13=b
y=3x-13

???

the equation would be
y = mx + b
now put in the slope and the point values
5 = 3(2) + b
5 = 6 + b
-1 = b

equation : y = 3x - 1

You switched the x and y values around.
