(3 , -2) , (8 , -8). m = -6/5.
y = mx + b,
-2 = (-6/5)3 + b,
-2 = -18/5 + b
-2 + 18/5 = b,
-10/5 + 18/5 = b,
8/5 = b,
b = 8/5.
y = (-6/5)x + 8/5 = Slope-Int form.
Point-slope form:
(3 , -2), (x , y).
m = (y + 2) / (x - 3) = -6/5,
Cross multiply:
5(y + 2) = -6(x - 3).
y = mx + b,
-2 = (-6/5)3 + b,
-2 = -18/5 + b
-2 + 18/5 = b,
-10/5 + 18/5 = b,
8/5 = b,
b = 8/5.
y = (-6/5)x + 8/5 = Slope-Int form.
Point-slope form:
(3 , -2), (x , y).
m = (y + 2) / (x - 3) = -6/5,
Cross multiply:
5(y + 2) = -6(x - 3).
