Prove that

cscx / cosx = tanx + cotx

1 answer

LS = cscx/cosx
= (1/sinx)/cosx
= 1/(sinxcosx)

RS = sinx/cosx + cosx/sinx
= (cos^2x + sin^2x)/(sinxcosx)
= 1/(sinxcosx)
= LS
