Eastern and Western Philosophers Comparison Paper

Write a 700- to-1,050-word persuasive paper discussing how one Eastern philosopher and one Western philosopher make the most compelling cases for his or her ideas.

I keep reading and reading but I am lost, maybe someone can point out 2 names for me... one eastern and one western... please help me

You need to choose one Eastern philosopher and one Western philosopher. Read some of what each has written. Then tell how each philosopher has attempted to convince people that his ideas are right.

Here are lists of Eastern and Western philosophers.
Your assignment asks that you choose one of each and explain how that person tries to convence others that his/her philosophy is correct. I would choose two that have ideas on the same subject and then you can compare and contrast the two and conclude which you think made the best argument.
