I feel confident about using context clues because I have practiced identifying key words and phrases that help me understand the meaning of unfamiliar words and phrases in a text.

It is challenging to understand the meaning of figurative language because it requires thinking beyond the literal words and considering the underlying message or symbolism.

One way that I can determine the genre is by looking at the overall themes, settings, and character types present in the text to help classify it into a specific category.

In order to remember how to sequence a narrative, one strategy I used was creating a visual timeline or storyboard to map out the events in order.

If I am not sure how to figure out the theme of a text, one strategy I can use is identifying recurring motifs or symbols that may convey the central message or lesson of the story.
