Oh, come ON! This one's a no-brainer. You could do it in your sleep, if you're the same rachel who posted earlier today :-)

Draw the axes.
Draw the point (2,4).

Draw a horizontal (across) line through it. What value of y does every point on that line have? So the equation is :
y = what?

Draw a vertical (up-down) line through it. What value of x does every point on that line have? So the equation is :
x = what?
I'm feeling horrible for not being able to do this. [I am the old rachel :(]

could you explain it again? <ashamed>
okay.. i get it
i misunderstood your post..
thanks a lott xxx (=
It was just too easy for you!

That happens quite a lot. To everyone, especially me. :-) I look at a problem and think "I don't get it", and 10 minutes later when I'm thinking about something else, I get the "DOH!". Me and Homer Simpson. And now you, too.

I'm sorry I made you feel bad; I just knew you'd see it easily when you looked at it the right way. I had confidence in you.
