Does anyone know what chromium is soluble or insoluble in or know any inks that could help?

You need to be a little more specific with your question. Cr, the metal, is soluble in HNO3, I'm sure. The compounds are another question. And what does the solubility of Cr have to do with inks? That needs addressing, also.
