A 5 N force directed to the west acts on an object for 2.0 seconds. What is the change in momentum of the oject?

Would it be 5 X 2?

Force = rate of change of momentum, or, put it the other way round,
change of momentum
= force * time
So 5*2 Kg-m/s is correct.
