25cc N2*(2mols NxOy/x molN2) = 25 cc NxOy. Then

50 cc O2*(2 mols NxOy/ymol O2) = 25 cc NxOy
Finally 50*2/y = 25 and y = 100/25 = 4
So x = 2 and y = 4 so NxOy must be N2O4. We can check that this way.
