I think the idea in this question is to make sure you associate those atoms together that make polyatomic ions.
ZnCl2 = Zn^+2 + 2Cl^-
HNO3 ==> H^+ + NO3^-
(NH4)2SO4 ==> 2NH4^+ + SO4^=
ZnCl2 = Zn^+2 + 2Cl^-
HNO3 ==> H^+ + NO3^-
(NH4)2SO4 ==> 2NH4^+ + SO4^=
