Why is history better than fiction?

history covers events that most likely happened and fiction is well....made up from the top of your head :) so history is more believable.

yes, but fiction can still be history even if it was off the top of someones head. Someone telling a story about someone else who was in a different time period. They may not have exact information from that person. But the information they useis still believable. It puts the reader in the actual situation. If that makes sense :P

it does make sense but i live in world in a world where fiction is your imagination and history told by another person or not, is something that covers true events. but you got me kind of confused :s
