let one angle be x
let the supplement be 180-x
"one angle measures 12 degrees more than the other" ---> x = 180-x + 12
2x = 192
x = 96

one angle is 96, the other is 84

Do they add up to 180 º YEA!
is one 12 more than the other ? YEAH!
