The distance formula is ..
given two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
distance= sqrt ((x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2)
given two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
distance= sqrt ((x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2)
