Tell whether the square root of any real number is away ,sometime or never positive? Explain your answer

Always positive. Because you multiply a number by itself to get the answer to a square root, and since two of the same signs (positive or negetive) always are positive (-2X-2 is still positive 4) the square root of a # is always positive.
