History is the sum total of our experiences over generations. Historical sources are written records, physical evidence left, and stories. Quite often each does not give a complete, unbiased account, but instead, a fragement of what happened. One has to piece many of these together to get the whole truth, then often, we apply our own biases in viewing it.
