do you know how to use the diamond? or were you taught with the FOIL square?

Loretta
Never heard of diamond. I've heard of FOIL.

Then you would use FOIL, and find which two numbers multiply to get 2, and add to get -3

Ok that's what I thought. I tried to do that.
-2 x 1=-2
-2 + 1=-1
2 x 1=3
2+1=3
-1 x 2=-2
-1+2=1
I don't know what other numbers multiply to 2.
-2 x 1=-2
-2 + 1=-1
2 x 1=3
2+1=3
-1 x 2=-2
-1+2=1
