i've to create a list of power shifts, starting from the opening scene of Act I. It's supposed to follow the exchange of power throughout the play.
what details and characters to include?

is there and website that shows these power shifts - or lays them out?
this is about Julius Caesar.

Your best source of information will be YOUR reading of the play. As you read, take notes whenever you notice a power shift.

Here's a site that will help you read the text with understanding:

Choose the play you want; then choose the act and scene. Start reading!! You'll find the original 400-year-old text on the left and a modernized version on the right.

You'll do fine. Read the modernized version to "get" the story smoothly; then use quotations in the corresponding act, scene, line numbers of the original text when referring to the power-shift sections you decide on.

Go get an A!!

Google is a wonderful thing! I went to www.google.com and entered timeline julius caesar and this is the result:

You'll probably need to read through several to find the information you are looking for.
